IS-.375 Insert Screws secure the Barrel Clip into the Weaponholder’s threaded inserts in the overmolded Center-Ridge on the upper platform. Each set includes a hex wrench and two screws. Having an extra set of insert screws in your Accessory Kit is a good idea
IS-.375 Insert Screws and a hex wrench are poly bagged and included with Mil-Spec Weaponholders and Mil-Spec Systems. Unless you just need them as a replacement or spare part, consider purchasing a Barrel Clip as an Accessory. The insert screws are included with the Clip, and you can upgrade your Standard Weaponholder with a great New Feature.
When the Barrel Clip is attached to the Weaponholder by seating the four arms of the clip under the side rails, the holes in the Barrel Clip will line up with the threaded inserts in the Center-Ridge. Note: Make sure the ends of the four arms are locked into the slots in the siderails. Using the hex wrench, install the 2 Insert Screws. Do not over tighten the screws. Doing so could strip the threaded inserts. This will secure the Clip to the MPWH with over 600 pounds of connecting strength. Do Not Use the Clip without installing the Insert Screws.
