Tip: Customize your weapon handling & storage to best fit your spaces and needs. Consider your options such as horizontal, vertical, off the ground, the door or side of your gun safe, garage, places you stage before a hunt or a trip to the range. Your options have taken a giant leap forward. Rethink Weapon Handling & Storage.
Tip: If time allows, when building a weapons rack with Locking Strip, measure, level, and mark both ends of the surfaces you’re mounting the locking strips to. If time does not allow for these steps, mount a weapon in the Weaponholder, place the weapon against the surface(s) you’re mounting to and mark the surface(s) where the center of the locking strip channels on the Butt Plate & Weaponholder will be mounted. Repeat this a few times until you reach the other end of your rack.
Do I need to use Prep Wipes and Primer Sticks when mounting longer pieces of Locking Strip?
Yes. It is important to make sure the mounting surface is clean, so use one or more wipes if necessary. Primer Sticks reduce the curing time for maximum adhesive strength from 72 hours to just a few hours. These steps are quick and easy. If they are skipped, the strength and functioning of the system may be reduced.
Can I remove the Locking Strip and reuse it in another location?
No. Do not attempt to remove and reuse the Locking Strip. Removing it severely weakens its adhesive strength and it will not work properly if reapplied.
