Is it really necessary to use a Prep Wipe before installing Locking Strip?
Yes. Even if a surface appears to be clean, some dirt and oils may be present. Removing them will give the Locking Strip a much stronger bond.
Why should I carry spare Prep Wipes?
The light weight and portability of the Weaponholder allows you to use it in multiple locations. Carrying a few extra Prep Wipes, Primer Sticks and Locking Strips allows you to mount your system quickly in new locations. Some locations you’ll use over and over again. Having locking strips in place will save time and insure proper curing of the adhesive. The net result will be your system will have a more secure mount and you’ll get more use of it.
Do I need to take any precautions when using the wipes?
Yes, read the precautions on the back of the Wipe pouch. Avoid contact with eyes and breathing any vapors. Do not smoke when handling. And keep product away from extreme heat and flames.
