When time is a factor, Primer Sticks allow locking strips to achieve maximum adhesive strength in a few hours versus 72 hours without. Small, lightweight, portable and easy to use, it’s always a good idea to carry a few extra Primer Sticks, Prep Wipes and Locking Strips.

Tip: Before using a Primer Stick, clean the surface you will be adhering the locking strip to with a Prep Wipe – Part # PW-100
Tip: Always use a Primer Stick before adhering a Locking Strip. Use of primer will shorten the curing time of the adhesive on the Locking Strip from 72 hours to a couple of hours. Attaching and removing components without allowing the adhesive to cure may cause the locking strip to pull off the surface you attached it to. If this happens, do not attempt to reuse the same strip.
Can I reuse a Primer Stick?
No – Use a new Primer Stick each time you adhere a new Locking Strip. Dispose of used primer sticks immediately and responsibly.
