The VSM-11 strap is a one-piece 11” strap constructed of Mil-Spec., flame retardant nylon Velcro and features a tab for easy opening. The D-ring and hook/loop junctions are hand sewn for superior strength. The VS-11 can be used on both the Weaponholder and Butt Plate for most models of the M4, M16, AR’s and the Weaponholder when using the clip attachment.
In addition to adding a minimum of 80 lbs. extra holding strength, a properly strapped weapon has a higher shock resistance and is less likely to lose its zero from vibration. Proper use of the strapping system is critical when securing your weapon.
Straps in several lengths are available to accommodate varying needs and butt stock sizes.

What is the quick release tab?
The hooks on the rounded end of the VSM-11 have been removed so that the end of the strap will not engage, creating an easily accessible tab for quick opening. Note: The quick release tab is not the same thing as the Quick Release Tactical Strap.
Will I ever need to replace the strap?
Yes, depending on the number of open/close cycles your strap is subjected to, hook and loop will lose its strength over time. If you notice your strap’s peel strength is starting to weaken, we suggest you replace it to maintain maximum protection of your weapons. This is normal for all hook and loop products
Can I clean my Velcro strap?
Over time, the hook surface can pick up lint and other debris that can affect its ability to grip the loop surface. Cleaning debris out of the hooks is like cleaning a hairbrush: using a stiff brush or another piece of hook are the best methods. If this does not work, replace the strap.
Tip: To help keep your strap clean, engage the hook and loop sections when not in use. This will help keep it clean and extend the life of your strap.

What can I do if my strap is too short to secure the butt of my weapon?
Both System components come with either a Quick Release or 11” strap installed. This strap will accommodate most M4 and M16 models. For weapons with larger butt stocks VSM-12 & VSM-13 straps are available. The number after the VSM refers to the length of the strap in inches.
Tip: When the .75” Barrel Clip is mounted on the MPWH, use a VSM-10 or VSM-QRC strap.
